Washfit summarizes an entered fabric sample's before-and-after length and width, with optional conditional target-size inversion.

Two directions, explicit assumptions

Each measured direction has its own retention ratio and signed shrinkage or growth percentage. The rectangular area factor is their product. Optional starting dimensions assume those same measured ratios apply once to another piece and are clearly distinguished from actual measured inputs. This tool implements no proprietary laundering procedure, AATCC/ISO compliance assessment, certified sampling or uncertainty analysis. It does not choose care settings, predict future fabric behavior, grade a garment, add seam allowance or guarantee a cut size. It does not count stitches or warp yarn.

Free and local

No purchase, account or conversation is required. Calculation and text/CSV generation run in the browser. This prepared release has no active advertising, analytics or consent scripts. Publisher metadata and ads.txt prepare for possible later exact-host setup, without establishing approval, serving or income.
